Ana is a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker originally from Mexico and raised in Colorado. Growing up between cultures shaped the way she understands identity, family, and the importance of feeling seen and understood. Today, those experiences continue to guide the way she walks alongside children, adolescents, and families with curiosity, compassion, and confianza.
Before becoming a therapist, Ana worked directly with youth in school settings, supporting students through academic, behavioral, and social-emotional challenges. Since then, her work has remained rooted in serving children, adolescents, and families through school-based mental health, community mental health, youth development, trauma-informed care, and family systems work. She especially enjoys partnering with caregivers and recognizing the strengths that already exist within young people, families, and communities.
Ana believes schools can be more than places of learning. They can also be places where students experience belonging, connection, and hope. Whether conversations happen in English, Spanish, or somewhere in between, she strives to create a welcoming space where students and families feel respected, supported, and acompañados as they navigate life’s challenges together.
